Brian Barnett

Brian is the founding partner of Keylink Partnership. A management consultant for over 20 years, Brian is highly experienced in business strategy and management, and is passionate about helping Scottish businesses to prosper.

Brian has provided significant consultancy, guidance and support to a diverse range of clients, on a local, national and international level.   He has worked with an extensive client base in both public and private sectors and his sectoral expertise includes engineering, construction, defence, electronics, packaging, textiles, financial services, health, education, software and retail.

Brian has significant experience of undertaking Management and Organisational Development projects for clients, consistently achieving significant and sustained business improvements.

He is also a highly experienced facilitator working successfully with groups and teams at all levels within organisations.

A chartered engineer, Brian’s early career was with Hewlett Packard, where he was latterly Operations Manager undertaking senior roles in product and process design and manufacturing.

Douglas McDonald

Douglas, a founding partner of Keylink Partnership, is a Chartered Accountant specialising in financial and business management, including financial management coaching for directors. He has extensive commercial experience of providing business planning and strategy development to SMEs in sectors including engineering, construction, manufacturing, financial services, education, leisure and tourism, building services and telecoms.

Douglas completed his CA training with Grant Thornton where he worked within a broad range of industries in Scotland, including the whisky, motoring and transport industries, both as a CA and management consultant. His experience also includes time with Scottish Enterprise.  He now runs his own private accountancy practice alongside his work with Keylink Partnership.

Liz Metin

Liz joined Keylink Partnership as an Associate Consultant in 2013.

She has over thirty years of experience working with and advising growing businesses both as a consultant and as an adviser with the GO Group, Business Gateway and Glasgow Apparel, as well as starting up, developing and leading two successful businesses. Liz is valued by her clients because she can tell it how it is and has the experience, track record and commercial background to evidence her claims.

With a reputation for being able to clearly and succinctly explain the strategic and operational improvements businesses can make by undertaking organisational development, she is highly regarded both within the human resources profession and by her clients.

Liz’s significant areas of expertise include identifying core behavioural competencies to support cultural change, developing career development frameworks, learning and development strategies. She has practical experience of guiding management teams through the business planning process and developing practical and implementable strategic and operational action plans.
